Unit 307
1221 N Washington St, Denver, CO 80203, USA
This is the Raleigh Building in the Cap Hill neighborhood of Denver. My very first apartment on my own, and it served me well but I would never recommend moving here because of the property management company. They were completely unresponsive, I mean going months and months without hearing anything and it was only a 12 month lease. At some point in my year there, the door to the building broke and it just never locked. A lot of unhoused people pretty much moved in, and set up in the basement in our storage units and near the shared laundry. The door never got fixed, a lot of tenants stuff got stolen including ski gear. The location itself is in the heart of Cap Hill if that’s what you’re looking for, but I was continually stressed out about the lack of communication with really anything and everything. I was pretty excited to move out of this place when the time came. There is also a tiny parking lot that you have to get on the waitlist to get a spot if one becomes available. It worked out for me about a month into my lease I got a space, but it took me noticing that a spot was empty in the lot and I called and emailed multiple times a week to try and secure it.
